These terms cover your use of "The Desk by Satin Co." (the "app"), a productivity and planning tool. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
The Desk is a day-planning and habit-tracking tool: tasks, calendars, specialized lists, a manual-entry financial planner, group sharing, and an optional AI-assisted task generator. It's currently in a private testing phase — features may change, and we may add, remove, or adjust functionality as it develops.
You're responsible for keeping access to your own email account secure, since sign-in happens via emailed link. You must be at least 13 years old to use this app. One person, one account — don't share your account access with others (use Groups to share activity with people you trust instead).
Satin Privé and Satin Privé Family are optional paid subscriptions, billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis, automatically renewing until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your Profile; your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for. See our Refund Policy for details on charges made in error.
You own what you put into the app — your tasks, financial entries, profile info, and anything else you create. We don't claim ownership of it. We store it so the app can work, and so you can access it across devices; see our Privacy Policy for details on how it's handled.
Don't use the app to harm, harass, or deceive others, attempt to break or bypass its security, or use it for anything illegal. Groups are meant for people you actually know — not for building a public following or contacting strangers.
Suggestions from the "Generate" feature are AI-generated starting points, not professional advice of any kind (including financial, medical, or legal). Review anything it suggests before relying on it.
This app is provided "as is," especially during this private testing phase. We aim for reliability but can't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or exactly as described at every moment — it's actively being built.
To the extent permitted by law, Satin Co. isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $0 if you're on the Free plan).
We may update these terms as the app develops. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
